US President Donald Trump has unveiled Project ‘Stargate’ aimed at creating ‘largest AI infrastructure’ in history. It will be a $500bn joint venture between OpenAI, Oracle and SoftBank that aims to build a network of data centres across the US. Trump said in his speech the AI project aims at creating over 100,000 American jobs “almost immediately”.
